Not sure what incentive will be right for you? Our Customer Advisor teams will be able to discuss your requirements with you and help show which incentive could save you the most money, based on what apartment you chose. You must reserve your apartment by 31st January 2026 and must complete on your purchase by 31st March 2026 to apply.
And if you would prefer to rent rather than buy your new home, we are also offering two months rent free if you rent a new Pegasus home. You must reserve your apartment by 31st January 2026.
Watch the films below and if any of what they say resonates with you, why not speak to one of our friendly Customer Advisors who can help answer any questions you may have on moving to a Pegasus community.

Meet Michael
Sadly losing his wife seven years ago, Michael felt like he was “rattling around” in his three bedroom family home and decided to make his move. He says,
“At first, I wasn’t really sure what later living meant, but I absolutely love it here, it’s the best thing I’ve done”.

Meet Anne
“The best part is having friends and neighbours around. We have someone we can call on, a neighbour. People you can trust”.
As well as making new friends in a beautiful new apartment with far less maintenance worries, another major perk is feeling completely safe. As Anne says,
“It is so nice to know that if, in the middle of the night I was terrified of something, I could find somebody to help me. Or, if I fell over, I could call Tunstall and there would be somebody here to help. It’s a really secure place to be, to feel safe.”

Meet Brian
"It’s enjoyable, people just get together. It's the way of the future."
Brian, a retired Metropolitan Police dog handler, chose to live at Hortsley to be nearer his son. He discovered a community of people with similar life experiences and highlights the immense social advantages of residing in a Pegasus Homes community. Brian states,
"On a Monday evening, a few of the blokes get together, we bring a few beers and put the world to rights! I think it's a far better way of living...I'd recommend it to anyone!"

Meet Rita
Combatting loneliness is one of the main reasons why people move to these communities. We can enjoy a new lease of life with the various events and activities taking place, as well as having friendly neighbours around who share the same interests. Rita states,
“I think it can put people off, thinking that they have to get involved, but it’s there for you if you want it. You don’t have to join in, you can do your own thing. But having this community here meant that for us, we had a ready-made social life!”

Meet Penny, Sue & Mabel
Too often people wait until it’s too late, and the options for moving are limited. As Penny and Sue share,
“We decided to do it while we still could, before we got too old! Neither of us wanted to be left alone if the other popped their clogs! This is the ideal solution”

Meet Pauline
One of the significant benefits about living in a retirement community is that you're never really alone unless you want to be. If you're feeling social, you can just head to a common area, and there will always be someone to chat with. But if you'd rather have some quiet time, your own home is there for you, offering a peaceful retreat. Pauline strongly recommends the experience, saying,
"Go for it. Definitely go for it! I've already told some friends of friends...were very lucky here. "

Meet Dawn
Perceptions of later living are continuously changing. Our residents value independence, but also the richness of life that comes from shared experiences – whether that’s hosting friends, enjoying wellness facilities, or simply gathering over coffee with neighbours. Dawn is passionate about redefining what it means to enter a ‘later living’ community. She emphasises,
"We are not a retirement home. We have our individual living here. It's nice that there is company if you need it....The best thing I ever did was to come here.”
