Fitzjohn’s Appoint New General Manager Melanie Miotti as the Residence Comes to Life.

 

Combining luxury living with lifestyle amenities, Fitzjohn’s, by Pegasus, is arguably the finest new later living community in Hampstead, located at No.79 Fitzjohn’s Avenue. With 29 apartments available exclusively for those over 60 for immediate occupation, Pegasus are bringing life to Fitzjohn’s with the appointment of new General Manager Melanie Miotti as the first residents move in.

With the first occupancies in place at the
development since it first launched, life has begun at Fitzjohn’s, and a real sense of community has been developed. Within this community is new General Manager Melanie who is settling in alongside the new residents and helping to create a sense of home. Melanie notes how quickly the community is already coming together: “With new residents settling in, nothing makes me happier than to watch the residence become lived in, with grandchildren using the pool, pets basking in the courtyard garden and the club lounge being enjoyed. It is important to us that whilst Fitzjohn’s has all of the luxury of a 5* hotel, it still feels like home which is why we focus on the little details, such as installing a small hose outside to wash dog’s paws after a walk on the Heath, offering dog treats upon return and any assistance with taking shopping bags or luggage to a resident’s apartment.

“The intimacy of a smaller development such as Fitzjohn’s allows me to focus on creating a tailored lifestyle at Fitzjohn’s which residents look forward to come home to. Starting from the very beginning with Fitzjohn’s means I can build personal relationships with homeowners and build a sense of community that is unique to the development.”


Melanie’s role is flexible and will adapt with resident’s desires and needs, all of which she will aim to meet with the help of a Concierge who will be available on-site 12 hours a day, seven days a week. Residents can find her on site Monday to Wednesday where she is present and on hand to help. She explains that her role at Fitzjohn’s is all about ensuring that personal touch: “With only 29 apartments I will strive to make sure each resident is more than happy with their new home and the service they receive from myself and team, with no request to little or large. Taking on board feedback and really listening to resident’s opinions is of utmost importance and we always aim to implement suggested changes where possible.


“Myself and team will be available to take parcels, book taxis, facilitate the spa and wellness centre use, manage the guest suite, fix any snagging issues and to sort out the needs and desires of homeowners at their request. I am a big believer that the small things are the things that make a difference and are what people remember. Aside from customer service, my role is about making sure the building is safe and compliant, things that homeowners wouldn’t necessarily notice but are vital to the running of the building and ensuring that life at Fitzjohn’s runs smoothly behind the scenes.” Melanie is looking forward to welcoming new residents through the doors at Fitzjohn’s and into the community that she has started to curate.
