Renaissance Retirement has teamed up with local artists to host a Pop-Up Art Exhibition at its Cavendish Collection development on Higher Downs Road, Babbacombe. The month-long exhibition is running from 3rd-31st March, excluding weekends, from 11am – 3pm, to bring together and celebrate an eclectic mix of artistic talent across the English Riviera.

Featuring some stunning artwork from talented local artists including potter Verity De Pulford, painter and ceramicist Karen Lixenberg, and acrylic painter Aziz Khan, the pieces will be on display in one of the nine luxury two-bedroom homes. Riviera residents are invited to visit the exhibition, enjoy some refreshments and, after browsing the works on show, choose their favourite piece of art in the collection and tell us why. The artist with the highest number of votes at the end of the month will win a cash donation from Renaissance Retirement for a local charity of their choice.

Speaking about the event, Paul Aitkenhead, Marketing Manager at Renaissance Retirement said: “We thought it would be a great idea to team up with local artists and host a pop-up art exhibition in one of the new homes at The Cavendish. They are a perfect blank canvas for the art, and it creates a fantastic gallery. We’re really looking forward to the month-long event and welcoming all to the pop-up exhibition.

“The English Riviera has a strong arts scene and the exhibition will give our owners and the local community an opportunity to view some beautiful art and be able to vote for their favourite piece and help raise funds for a local charity. Visitors to the exhibition can also view the stunning home and The Cavendish development at the same time.”

The Cavendish is perfectly located within minutes of Babbacombe Downs, Oddicombe Beach and the shops and amenities of St Marychurch.  Each home is finished to a high specification combining stunning interior and exterior design. Prices start from £410,000 for a two-bedroom home.
