What to expect from your new home
Get all the facts on apartment sizes, accessibility standards, and features so you can find the perfect layout for your lifestyle.
What sizes of home are available?
Pegasus communities offer one, two and three bedroom apartments. We create high quality apartments rather than houses or bungalows. The majority of our homes are on one level, but we do offer duplex apartments in some communities, and lifts serve every floor in our communities.
What is included as standard?
Every Pegasus community is designed by nationally acclaimed architects, with each home benefiting from high-quality finishes and appliances. We commission award-winning interior designers to shape the homes and communal spaces within our communities to create a modern yet comfortable feel.
Most Pegasus homes have an EPC B energy-efficiency rating.
Homes within our communities come unfurnished, ready for you to make your own with your furniture and style. If you would like help, we can introduce you to interior designers we have worked with.
Is a one bedroom home big enough?
For many residents, one bedroom is enough because family and friends can use the community's guest suite instead. Guest suites are available at many Pegasus communities, subject to availability and an additional charge.
A spare room earns its place in plenty of homes, for hobbies, visitors or a study. If you would rather keep that space, two and three bedroom apartments are available at many communities.
The right size is the one that suits how you live now. The sales team can show you the available layouts before you decide, and Living styles explains the different ways to live with Pegasus.
How accessible are the homes?
Pegasus aims to build every home to Part M4(2) of the Building Regulations, the standard for accessible and adaptable homes. In practice, that means step-free access, wider doorways, more room to move and a bathroom that can be adapted later without structural work.
Some communities also include M4(3) homes designed for wheelchair users. That means enough space to move around the home in a wheelchair.
The standard varies by home and is set when each community is designed. The sales team can confirm before you visit.
Outdoor space
Most Pegasus communities have communal gardens, with the grounds looked after for you.
Most Pegasus homes also have private outdoor space, such as a balcony, though this depends on the community and the home.
Some communities have allotments and gardening clubs. Ask the on-site team what is available before you view.
